1981 MGB ROADSTE

Excellent body-work and strong engine. Would benefit from a set of new carpets. Hood has had a repair. MOT 5 months and taxed until the end of Jan. I have owned this car for a number of years now and have found it to be very reliable and an excellent drive. Unfortunately moving into retirement this and my Healey have now to sold. Note-the head is not converted to leadfree at the moment and requires the usual additive to be added to the unleaded fuel. The photos display well the condition of the bodywork especially in the boot area and the engine bay.

This is an older retoration Austin Healey that now needs to be completed and essentially revamped.
Very regrettable sale of this car.
Owned by me since the early 90’s when it was imported as a LHD vehicle. This is an older restoration which has had many new parts fitted and bought by me, including RHD steering column and Idler, rear wings, hardtop, 72 spoke wheels, front suspension units, wheel cylinders, competition fuel pump and filter, king pins (still in box)Steering wheel, Safety devices roll cage, brakes etc. This car did have a current MOT when taken off the road in early 2000 when children and a house build took up my time. It was my intention to completely redue the car as a rally replica in my retirement but due to a change in personal circumstances it now has to be sold. It will need further work to get it road legal, but this should not include any welding. It has been stored in a very dry garage and started regularly(although the exhaust has been cobbled together pending the fitting of a competition rally one)
The engine had always been really strong-and can be heard running now.
I am open to sensible offers on this car and they would have to be in the region of £18000 -but I will not reply to any silly offers.
